“Recipe for a family feud” is a story where life is prepared and cooked over low flame, but love is the cherry on top.

Two families, the Fernandez and the Hernandez are enemies.  Among them there is such a hate that involves their employees, friends, but most of all two of their children.

Tania is a metropolitan young woman, quite distrustful and somewhat individualistic, who like most violent city dwellers lives with neurosis and the fear of becoming another victim of the underworld. Until the experience she lives changes her perception of the world. She is assigned an important mission of redemption and love: to save Santiago.

Family fare is a drama series targeted at general audiences. It reflects daily life and contemporary issues with stories that address both local and universal subjects. But the series refrains from taking sides and merely spurs social debate.  Set in a fictional village on the northeastern coast of Catalonia, Family fare is filmed in a real restaurant in Maresme County, adding further authenticity and credibility to the story. The sea and a high-tech kitchen serve as backdrop to the unfolding story.

The main characters are members of the Guitart Riera family that run the upmarket restaurant Can Riera. After over forty years of marriage, Ignacio Guitart decides to leave his wife and four sons to set up a restaurant in Madrid. The news makes stomachs churn and forces everyone to take sides. The mother who runs the restaurant is willing to go to all lengths to get her husband back, while the four sons vie with each other to establish their place in the family.

Set in Madrid before the revolution of 1868, during the kingdom of Isabel II, lives Luisa Fernanda, staying in the inn of Dońa Mariana. Luisa Fernanda has a boyfriend called Javier, a militar with liberal ideas. Also a rich and old man called Vidal woos her. This love triangle has in context the Glorious Revolution that will affect in their lives. A great classic of Zarzuela with populars acts like El Soldadito, the Mazurca de las Sombrillas or the final duo netween Luisa Fernanda and Javier, Cállate Corazón.
