A man and a woman with no apparent connection are involved in a bizarre bank robbery, which ends in their deaths. The police investigation  is at a standstill, so their offspring – Lara and Simão – decide to solve the mystery that led to this tragedy. What they find out is only the tip of  the iceberg. Other deaths follow, all of which do not appear to be related and are entangled in a mysterious endless web. Who will be the next  target?

COUNTING WITH PAULA follows the lively adventures of a young girl named Paula who uses her understanding of numbers to help her complete  missions in a variety of exciting settings. Each story opens with Paula and  her friends – sweet-natured Billy, enthusuastic Tim and helpful Chalky, Calc and the Numbers – discovering a problem and being given a task to complete before learning the solution. As their room transforms into anything from outer space to an underseas world, they make new Friends, follow clues, and put numbers to good use  on their way to completing their mission.
